Hip-hop superstar Kendrick Lamar may soon be crossing over and dabbling in the electronic music scene. Kendrick Lamar has just announced that he will be working on a remix of the track “Omen” created earlier in the year by Disclosure and well known lyricist Sam Smith. Sam Smith and Disclosure became household names after the release of “Latch” in 2014.

Kendrick quickly rose to stardom in 2013 with his song “Problems,” and he is currently working on a jazz-infused set to play for the National Symphony Orchestra in Washington D.C at the Kennedy Center. This combination of a legendary rapper, producer, and amazing vocalist is sure to make this “Omen” remix a hit.

There are no set release dates for Kendrick’s remix of “Omen,” but this tune is on the way and we will be sure to keep anxious fans in the loop.

You can download Kendrick Lamar’s newest album To Pimp A Butterfly on iTunes here, and don’t miss Disclosure’s sophomore album Caracal.
