Adding another major reunion to its roster, it is confirmed that LCD Soundystem will be headlining the major music and arts festival next April.

The dance-rock band led by James Murphy, has been idle since their farewell show at Madison Square Garden in 2011. Rumors of a comeback have been circling even since the group released a new song, “Christmas Will Break Your Heart,” on December 24.

A spokesman for LCD Soundsystem declined to comment, but they will be joining Guns N’ Roses as another rock ’n’ roll reunion that we can look forward to for the next installment of Coachella.

Coachella, which returns to Indio, California, on April 15-17 and April 22-24, is expected to release the lineup early next week. The festival is presented by Goldenvoice, a California concert promoter owned by the global concert giant AEG Live.
