As Kesha continues to fight her record label in court without success, she is gaining more supporters from big names in the industry – the latest being Taylor Swift.

Swift donated $250,000 to Kesha on Sunday, soon after a judge ruled against Kesha’s plea to record independently of her producer, Dr. Luke. Kesha originally claimed in a 2014 lawsuit that Dr. Luke abused her sexually, physically, verbally and emotionally since he signed her back in 2005. She filed an injunction with hopes of creating her own music outside of her current contract with Kemosabe Records. Dr. Luke has denied all charges.

Swift’s donation is intended, as specified  by her spokesperson, “to help with any of her financial needs during this trying time.”

Other female musicians have voiced their support in the #FreeKesha social media campaign, including Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus, Lorde, and Kelly Clarkson.
