Canadian future bass and G-House phenomenon ANGELZ has just released the dirtiest 4 track EP and you HAVE to check it out. Notably, ANGELZ was the first artist to release on Tchami’s new label Confession, and his ‘Enfant Terrible’ EP was just released on NYX² a few days prior to the release of his new EP ‘Saint Thug’. ANGELZ will be on a US/Australian tour for the remainder of the summer.
Previously a highly demanded producer for Def Jam Records, ANGELZ has shifted his creative efforts toward the budding G-House movement, utilizing his roots in hip hop to create some of the dirtiest underground house ever heard. The grimy drum beats and plunging future house swells work together to create a truly new genre fluid sound.
The EP starts out with “Crew”, a heavy introduction with climbing future bass beats. “ATBWFM” follows next with rumbling bass and aggressive varying tempos. The EP’s leading single “Stunt” is third on the lineup and boasts a heavy, dirty trap sound and daring bass-line. The final track “I Want It All” (and my personal favorite) blends rap verse with wicked instrumentals that play a bold finish to the collection.
‘Saint Thug’ is a raucous genre-bending production and is available for stream and for purchase. You can check it out below.
