Monstercat, founded by Mike Darlington and Ari Paunonen in 2011, is one of electronic music’s most influential independent record labels, which carries a roster of world-renowned artists. With a goal to connect artists with fans in a way that nurtures the spirit of sharing and family, the company is spreading their mission to Sunburn Festival.

The Canadian label will take a stop in Kesnand of Pune District in India to take over a fully curated stage at the four-day festival from Dec. 28 to Dec. 31. Featuring the likes of Haywyre, Pegboard Nerds, Puppet, and other special guests, this is bound to be quite an impression on Asia’s largest music festival.

Monstercat is a label that connects with their audience primarily online, where they have over 5 million YouTube subscribers, 19 No. 1 chart-topping albums on iTunes, and over 3 million singles sold to date as well as 1.5 million streams per day on Spotify. Not only does the label have high success in the U.S., U.K. and Australia, but they have successful branches of merchandising, live event promotion and technological innovation.
