After being voted as the “One To Watch” by MTV and Billboard, Danny Avila has become one of the youngest DJs to gain traction in the EDM scene due to his prowess in electro house, big room, Dutch house and trap.
The 21-year-old DJ has worked with major producers such as Tiesto, Deniz Koyu, The Black Eyed Peas, Fedde Le Grand and most recently Tujamo. In 2011, he was nominated as the “DJ Revelación” at the Vicious Music Awards by Ron Barceló. Now Avila has been traveling around the world, performing at some of the biggest festivals in the world.
This year, the Madrid-native DJ decided to take his fans along with him as he toured around the world for his newest music video, “High.” The video premiered on MTV Dec. 15, showing memories of his summer in Miami, Bali, London, Scotland, Sydney, Ibiza and more.
Avila reminisces of the summer with “High,” giving his fans an exclusive look of his major performances, providing footage from gigs all over the world. The video truly is a testament to Danny’s on-going success as an artist in this highly competitive industry, as well as a tribute to his devoted fans.
The DJ and producer first released “High” back in October on Ultra Music, and saw the track premiere by Billboard, receiving over half a million streams and it even popped up in Parookaville’s official aftermovie.
However, the “High” music video isn’t the only release that Avila is planning for the end of the year. He has a few more tracks up his sleeve before the end of December, and is hosting/judging Europe’s biggest DJ contest NYDJAY. The competition kicks off in Amsterdam and continues in Cologne, Lyon, Stockholm, Budapest, Zurich, Zagreb, Moscow, Bucharest, Vienna and Warsaw.
