Amsterdam Dance Event, one of the biggest industry-wide events in the world, has just announced the dates for its 2017 installment.
Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) is an electronic music conference and festival, typically held in the fall, that brings together artists, labels, fans, industry professionals, and more for five days of artist showcases, label events, conferences, and beyond.
This year, ADE will return for its 22nd edition on Oct. 18-22, with an expected attendance of 375,000 visitors from both the Netherlands and around the globe.
“Amsterdam is the centre of the global electronic music scene during ADE, a hotbed for cultural and technological innovation,” ADE director Richard Zijlma is quoted in a press release. “It’s amazing to see that thousands of delegates and music enthusiasts are spending more and more time in the city each year.”
ADE will also be expanding internationally. This year will see ADE Global Sessions Mumbai, from Feb. 23-25, as well as a showcase at SXSW in Austin, Texas. According to Billboard, “Mumbai’s Global Sessions will include Q&As, strategy meetings, master classes, plus networking and speed dating events – in case you’re looking for the industry professional of your dreams – and more.” Amsterdam Dance Event will also be featured as a co-presenter at India’s Biggest Guestlist Club Festival.
