Gearing up to release his first EP of 2017, G Jones has dropped a new “We See It Clear.” G Jones has been one the leaders in sound design for a while now, and this release proves he’s still moving forward. He’s been described by DJ Shadow as one of the most gifted ableton producers he’s ever met, and by EPROM as a “beast in the studio.”

It’s hard to describe the sounds of G Jones. His tunes are usually filled with heavy distortion and heavy bass, coupled with a swing-like rhythm that keeps your feet moving on the dance floor. Think Bassnectar meets Mr. Carmack.

2017 is going to be a big year for G Jones. He already has a release date for his upcoming EP, Visions, which is due out on January 27th. He also has plans to release a highly-anticipated collaborative project with Bassnectar, which has had the internet going crazy ever since it was officially announced. Understandably so, since they’re two collaborations, “The Mystery Spot” and “Mind Tricks” are both huge tracks that came out on two different ‘Nectar albums.

“We See It Clear” should hold you over for a while until the solo project is officially released next week. Stream it below. He’s also doing a Visions tour, so go check him out if he’s coming to a city near you.
