India’s biggest DJ/Producer, Shaan, made his major label debut with the release of his official remix of Steve Aoki and Louis Tomlinson’s hit single, “Just Hold On.” Shaan’s remix of “Just Hold On,” which is available on Ultra Music, features an authentic future bass cut and explosive synths.
The Mumbai-based DJ’s remix follows his latest track titled “Break Your Ways,” which was released via Armada Music. Its unique sound hit the scene with an element of surprise, conspicuously depicting the change in both his musical and personal styles and went on to being one of the most acclaimed and talked about releases within the subcontinent.
Shaan has built a large fanbase in India and has hosted his own “Shaan & Friends” stage at Sunburn Goa and played on its main stage in front of a record-setting 270,000 fans last December. He was the first Indian to play at Tomorrowland festival in 2014, making him the youngest DJ to play an international festival. His debut single “Light Up The World” featuring Lauren Evens was picked up by Armada Music and quickly rose to the Beatport Top 15 charts. He’s collaborated with Vida and Sandro Silva on tracks “Hologram” and “Hooya.”
The Indian DJ has performed all over the world at festivals Ministry of Sound, London; Djakarta Warehouse Project; Budweiser Storm, Shanghai and many more, sharing the stage with Tiesto, Hardwell, Afrojack, David Guetta, Swedish House Mafia and more.
