Cozway has provided a refreshing take on Louis The Child’s “Love Is Alive” that proves his talent and versatility in all the right ways.
Elohim’s summertime vocals open the track before the Canadian producer has his way with it. A quick 180 throws his recognizable sound into the mix by way of a moombahton-inspired drop. The remix is completely club-ready, which is not surprising considering he has shared the stage with numerous established artists, such as Flux Pavilion, Ekali, and REZZ. It’s not an easy feat to turn a pop-crossover into a 100 BPM twerk remix, but Cozway delivered with ease.
The multi-genre bass artist hails from Canada’s West Coast and saw early support from Louis the Child, Whethan, QUIX, and more with his breakthrough single “Windbreaker” on Jadū Dala earlier this year. He recently collaborated with Awoltok on “Dead Seas” and is quickly becoming recognized for his unique genre-spanning sound. Although his roots are in trap, the rising producer is never content to sit at one tempo, and likes to work through the entire bass music spectrum when playing live.
