Betty Moon is a Toronto-born and Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter. She has come up with beautiful collection of songs to be released in 2017. First and foremost comes the single “Sound” off the up coming album. The album is sure to have influences from her favorite genres, including electronic music, dance, pop, and future house.
Moon’s “Sound” gets the remix it deserves by the Los Angeles-based Mahalo. Mahalo starts the remix with Moon’s powerful vocals. He then moves it into a gripping build to emphasize the power of Moon’s voice. The drop gets a deep house sounding (pun intended) drop. The melody during the drop is very tropical, which signals a strong summer vibe. Mahalo’s particular style can be heard on a plethora of various artist’s tracks, including ZHU‘s “In The Morning,” DVBBS and Shaun Frank‘s “La La Land” (feat. Delaney Jane), Robert Miles‘s “Children,” and The Temptations‘ “I Wish It Would Rain.”
Betty Moon has spent the last year putting this concept album together, which was crafted to reflect upon her recent move from Toronto to Los Angeles. Her previous single “No Good” debuted in the Top 10 on College radio. She also performed at the world-renowned Troubadour and Roxy Theatre.
