Das Energi Festival has one of the most exciting and diverse lineups of 2017. The Salt Lake City, Utah festival is taking over August 18th and 19th for two days of bass, dubstep, trap, and more.

Headliners include Zedd, Knife Party, Diplo, and Adventure Club, but it’s the second category of artists that has us over the moon for this lineup. Big names like Claude VonStroke, Herobust, Mija, and REZZ will surely throw down, but what about some of the artists you may not be familiar with yet? Check out our list of 5 non-headliners not to catch at Das Energi Festival below and enter to win a pair of tickets here.

JSTJR has made his rounds on Insomniac, Mad Decent, Fool’s Gold, and more. As a frequent purveyor of trap, moombahton, and tropical bass, his set will surely be one of the most diverse of the Das Energi performances. You’ll surely hear some tracks from his recent Never Squad Down EP, which you can revisit here.

4. BlackGummy

If you’re into the darker side of electronic and techno, then BlackGummy’s performance will be for you. The mau5trap native has received ample support from artists like deadmau5, REZZ, and Andy C, making him a clear win for your daily schedule.

3. Ganja White Night

Belgian dubstep duo Ganja White Night like to keep things bass-heavy, but they’ll keep you on your toes with a diverse tracklist and spotless transitions. Chances are, you’ll be raving about their set for days beyond the festival.

2. Bijou

Self-proclaimed ‘G-House Guru’ Bijou is a force to be reckoned with. What can you expect from this hot up-and-comer? G-house, bass house and classic house bangers that will combine to make for an insanely energetic set. If a ‘Destructo meets Dr. Fresch’ vibe sounds up your alley, then make sure to get down with Bijou.

1. X&G

Our No. 1 must-attend act at Das Energi festival this year is X&G. The Salt Lake City natives are quickly becoming legendary in their own right. The duo’s unreal bass and experimental trap productions receive massive support and their sets are only held to the same standard. As frequenters of OWSLA and their own DAMN SON! label, these two are one of the most innovative acts to be rising in the scene right now. X&G will surely bring out all the stops for their hometown, so make sure to check them out.
