Lollapalooza, which kicked off in Chicago, Illinois today, has been cut short.
Reports from attendees indicate that the festival began evacuating about 15 minutes into Lorde’s set, who had just began her performance to close out the festival. All screens across the festivalgrounds at Grant Park read ‘SEVERE WEATHER APPROACHING / PLEASE EVACUATE NOW.’

Lolla, which was closing out with performances from Lorde, Muse, Lil Uzi Vert, and Porter Robinson this evening, released a message on the app, warning fans to find the nearest emergency exit and take shelter. Lorde also took to Twitter to make a statement about the evacuation.
