Webster Hall‘s well-known Girls & Boys crew has announced their new venue of choice, along with a brand new event that will make Friday nights in New York even more exciting.

Brooklyn’s Schimanski nightclub will be home to The Function, a brand new weekly installment put together by RPM and the team behind Girls & Boys, New York’s longest-running electronic party. Unfortunately, with the closing of the group’s previous stomping grounds, Webster Hall, the team had to relocate, but Schimanski seems like a great fit for the well-established brands.

According to Billboard, The Function will celebrate “emerging talent from all corners of the electronic scene, as long as the bass rings true.” The new event will add bass, future and funk genres to the house and techno-heavy bookings that the club was previously known for.

The Function kicks off tonight, September 7th, with Destructo, and will continue to host artists like GTA, Ghastly, and more. See the full list of shows below and follow The Function on Facebook or visit Schimanski online to stay updated.
