The remixes for DESTRUCTO‘s recent single “Renegade” ft. Freddie Gibbs have arrived. Up-and-coming producers VOLAC and Rrotik take the track on two distinctly impressive routes for one marvelous remix package.

VOLAC’s remix combines the original track’s dark and sinister melody with a party-ready bass house drop to make it his own. A unique bassline with fun sound design and breaks-infused synths make it completely fresh. This would be a perfect staple for any DJs to that need a little something extra for the dance floor.

Then, Rrotik’s remix kicks it up a notch. The track is an instant jolt of energy thanks to rolling hi-hats and an unexpected trap breakdown. He then takes the track into a incredible subwoofer-driven G-house joint. It’s uncommon that a remix puts a producer on the map, but after listening to his “Renegade” remix (especially after the second drop), I’m like, “WHOSE MANS IS THIS?”

DESTRUCTO made the perfect choices in recuriting VOLAC and Rrotik to take on “Renegade.” Both artists provided their individual twists on the track, while keeping just enough of DESTRUCTO’s original flair to keep it on brand.

Listen to the “Renegade” remixes below. The original version of the track appears on DESTRUCTO’s latest EP Renegade.
