Albert Pan, who goes by the alias Folded Dragons, started producing after being influenced by one of the biggest names in the industry, Avicii, and his hobby turned into an obsession. He taught himself to use DAWs and constantly figured out new production techniques.
Folded Dragons started to produce his own tracks inspired by his own feelings, and released them with hopes of sparking new ideas for another track.
“Only for the past year, however, did I start to believe it was time to share my music with the world. Now a freshman at New York University, I strive to focus as much time into the Folded Dragons name/brand as possible,” said Pan.
Now, the 18-year-old producer has dropped his very first release, a remix of Alaina Cross’ “Six Ft.” In this track, he shows off his unique craft of creating music by twisting the worlds of modern melodic bass and future bass together. Folded Dragons also builds his own artwork and branding, which shows off his DIY driven behavior.
