Teri Miko, Varien, and Flowsik are an electronic trio that we didn’t know we needed. “Wrath of God” is a cultural melting pot of electronic elements. Flowsik’s deep and dark vocals infiltrate the hip-hop culture in this, while Varien and Teri Miko’s production talents take the reigns in the bass. Flooded with sidechained trap and dubstep-like synths, “Wrath of God” is a mighty showcase of what three completely different multi-talents are capable of when they bring the bass together. “Wrath of God” has been released on the one and only Spinnin’ Records.
Teri Miko is very quickly becoming one of dance music’s most prominent DJs and profound electronic music producers in the game. She’s taking the bass music scene by storm and will shortly become a household name. Her performances consist of slamming the crowd with unexpected trap beats that are heavily embedded with electronic sounds–a paramount to Miko’s sound. “Kolavo,” a previous release from Miko, was released on Spinnin’ Records and has already garnered support from Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Tom Swoon, Stadium X, Tony Cha Cha, Will Sparks, and The Zombie Kids. Furthermore, “Kolavo” was added to the Spinnin’ Miami Night Mix 2017 compilation.
Miko’s most recent release, “Fukuyo,” was released on Dyro‘s WOLV Records back in December of 2016 and received support from Martin Garrix. She’s already been placed in front of massive audiences and received immense support and exposure from major festivals like Sunburn Festival and VH1 Supersonic. Miko has also shared the stage with industry icons like Marshmello, Slander, Dyro, Quintino, and many more.
Nick Kaelar, better known as Varien, is undoubtedly one of the most underrated musical prodigies in the entire industry. His talents take him far past electronic music and into orchestral music sprinkled with electronic elements. Varien’s talents as a composer, producer, and DJ have landed him the status of “vanguard” by Earmilk Magazine. He was also named Top 100 Artists to Watch by Alternative Press Magazine for far too many reasons to name in one article. I mean, just listen to his music!
Varien’s talents and “vanguard” status have snagged him collaborations with Skrillex, Two Steps From Hell, and everyone in between. His sound can be heard in feature films like Furious 7, The Walking Dead, 300: Rise of an Empire, and The Purge: Anarchy. With over 94 million views on YouTube and counting, Varien’s blissful, refreshing, and compelling blend of cinematic and electronic elements in music will continue to rise him to stardom as he sets the bar very high for producers alike.
Jay (Flowsik) Pak was born and raised in Queens, New York and proves to the world that he is, and will continue to be, a staple in the worldwide music industry. The dynamic and wide-ranged exposure to various cultures and styles of music, as well as playing trumpet and baritone horn for 10 years in a concert band, marching band, and jazz band has allowed Flowsik to truly become a versatile musician. He began as a rapper, but his ambitions didn’t allow him to stop just there, further developing himself into a producer, songwriter, arranger, and performer of his own music and other artists. He’s gained international recognition from his achievements and from being a member of the international super-group, Aziatix. Flowsik will continue to develop his sound as a solo artist, all while bringing people together and inspiring them through precise flow, lyrical depth, and creativity that is fueled through his undying passion and love for musical sensibilities.
