At least two people are dead and 24 others hospitalized from a mass shooting Sunday night at Mandalay Bay hotel and resort in Las Vegas after a gunman opened fire at a country music festival concert.
According to LA Times, the shots appeared to be coming from the upper floor of a hotel.

Parts of the Las Vegas strip have been shut down and police are asking everyone to avoid the area. As of 1:38 a.m., Las Vegas police were still investigating reports of an active shooter.

LVMPD have just confirmed that one suspect is down, but the investigation is still active. Patrons are asked to stay away from the Strip and to avoid livestreaming or shaing tactical positions of officers on scene, as it may put emergency responders in danger.
