Bok Nero and Jahlil Beats have joined forces for “Mr. Ross,” a hip-hop jam that breaks down the rags to riches and tells the story of living a life of excess. Last year, Jahlil Beats and Bok Nero rattled the industry with their Lorde of Legions debut EP.
Bok Nero has had a pretty astounding year this year. He’s achieved a new level of amazement by being featured on Zomboy‘s Beatport chart-topper “Rotten” and on Steve Aoki‘s “Kolony Anthem,” which also featured iLOVEMAKONNEN. Bok Nero performed alongside Aoki during his release party on the New York City streets, Dim Mak‘s Tomorrowland stage in Belgium, and Ultra Japan. Bok Nero’s solo single “Notice M3 Senpai!” was a heavyweight, and now he’s back at it again.
Jahlil Beats has truly honed in on his craft of audio engineering and has since the age of 12. His craft and talents have allowed him to become one of the most well-known hip-hop producers in the industry. Having produced Bobby Shmurda‘s platinum record “Hot N*gga,” Jahlil Beats has proven to us that he can pump out heat. Furthermore, he’s also produced hits for Drake, Lil Wayne, Rihanna, 50 Cent, Diddy, Chris Brown, T.I., and many more. He was also a major leading pack member in launching Meek Mill‘s career with breakout singles like “Amen,” “Ima Boss,” and “Monster,” which all reached the top 20 on Billboard‘s Hot Rap Songs. On top of Jahlil Beats’ busy schedule, he runs Tandem Music Group, a management, music publishing, and entertainment company.
