It’s less than a week before the grooviest Halloween festival of all time, Suwannee’s Hulaween! This year the Hula team is turning their attention towards those in need and supporting some very important causes, and we couldn’t be more proud or excited to take part.

The Hulaween team has just announced that all proceeds this year will be donated towards hurricane disaster relief victims in both Puerto Rico and Florida. There will also be a pre-party fundraising event on Wednesday, October 25th, at the Music Park’s Music Hall which will directly benefit Love Inc of Live Oak, FL. The event will feature live acts fit to kick off the festivities!

Hulaween, Silver Wrapper, Purple Hat, and The String Cheese Incident have aligned their resources to produce a charity-driven Pay Per View stream of SCI live from the festival. This means that by donating to the hurricane victims, you can watch Saturday’s String Cheese sets from the comfort of your own home! This is wonderful news to many who missed the boat on Hula tickets this year, since the event sold out in record time. Every dollar donated through the The String Cheese Incident live stream will be thoughtfully split between those in Hulaween’s host state of Florida, which was recently affected by hurricane Irma, plus a fund started by Silver Wrapper for Puerto Rico.

The spread of love and giving will continue into the event, where festival-goers will have the chance to donate food to The Suwannee Music Foundation and Conscious Alliance’s Art That Feeds inaugural food drive in support of Love Inc Food Bank in Live Oak, Florida. The first 600 patrons to donate non-perishable, health oriented food items will receive a commemorative Suwannee Hulaween poster, created by talented artist Nic Bogdal.

Hulaween and its partners are calling on their incredible campers and visitors to make a positive impact on the world around them, and in tandem with the theme of this year (Night of the Loving Dead), to help spread the love.
