The Russ Liquid Test have released their World Gone Crazy EP on GRiZ‘s All Good Records. The seven-track EP takes the listener on a journey through retro vibes, disco, and modern electronic dance music. One of the masterminds that heads the group is Russell Scott, a renowned brass specialist, while Andrew Block rocks the guitar, and Deven Trusclair smashes the drums. All three members are masters at New Orleans jazz music.
Heard throughout the EP is snazzy live instrumentation, including funk guitars and electronic synths, bass, and chordal stabs. The Russ Liquid Test are swimming in uncharted waters for dance music by blending jazz music and elements with modern day electronic music. With the culmination of the aforementioned genres, The Russ Liquid Test have produced an album that is far different from any other electronic music available today. Superbly crafted, impeccably produced, and magnificently satisfying, World Gone Crazy is enough to make the listener go crazy themselves.
This forward-moving group draws inspiration from live electronic music pioneers like Pretty Lights, Gramatik, The Floozies, and GRiZ. This group is a force to be reckoned with in the North American electronic music scene when performing live. The Russ Liquid Test have already performed at some of the most prolific festivals in the world, including Electric Forest, Shambhala, Lightning in a Bottle, and many more.
