Experimental hip-hop producer and DJ, The Gaslamp Killer, was recently accused of rape, and now he is filing a suit against the accusers for defamation.

The DJ, real name William Bensussen, was exposed by Twitter user @chelseaelaynne for allegedly drugging and raping her and her friend four years ago in a post that went viral across the platform last month. Now, Bensussen is suing both women mentioned in the story, along with Chelsea’s boyfriend for helping to share the story, for up to $5 million for defamation.

In documents obtained by TMZ, the DJ claims the sex was consensual, and furthermore, that the women propositioned him, instead of the other way around. He calls their accusations “malicious and fabricated” and adds information about two witnesses who can confirm his version of the story. One of the witnesses also claims that he saw the women depart with Bensussen under their own accord.

Since the accusations went public, The Gaslamp Killer was dropped from his residency with LA’s Low End Theory and his upcoming Australian tour was canceled.
