Wonderland’s national tour, “Wonderland Scarehouse Project,” made its way through Sydney on December 9th, and quickly became the ideal backdrop for two fans to honor their love and commitment to one another. That night, Alison yielded the stage mid-set to welcome the couple, whose impassioned words and heartfelt ring exchange warmed the hearts of gazing audience members.

The celebration was a symbol of love and hope in Australia, and the tireless support for equality from Alison Wonderland herself. The monumental proposal comes just a week after Australia’s Parliament voted to legalize same-sex marriage. “This is Australia: fair, diverse, loving, and filled with respect for everyone,” said Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull as he introduced a bill for a final vote last Thursday.
The Scarehouse Project proposal was immortalized with a video and beautiful pictures, and shared to Alison Wonderland‘s Twitter.
