The lineup for Coachella Valley Music + Arts Festival 2018 has been revealed, and it’s receiving extremely mixed reviews. Beyoncé, Eminem and The Weeknd seem like appropriate headliners, but when you continue reading, there are some unfamiliar names.
Found directly after esteemed names like The Weeknd, SZA and Kygo is ’90s British funk and acid jazz band Jamiroquai. (Yes, this Jamiroquai.)
Twitter had a lot to stay about the group’s placement on the lineup. Questions like “how in the world is Jamiroquai further up this bill than the all-conquering queen of 2017, Cardi B?” “Who did Kelela hurt to be relegated to font so small you have to squint to see it?” And, of course, “Jamiroquai’s the guy with the hats, right?”
Are we all going to sit here and act like Jamiroquai's placement isn't even a little startling? https://t.co/EncZlksazF
