Hayden Kramer, better known as Herobust, is fresh off a world tour where the response has been incredible for the new tunes. The Atlanda-born electronic music producer has shown us that he won’t be held back by genre constraints and is continuing to push forward from his bassline and Southern hip-hop style roots to underground tempos and industrial-edged instrumentals. After unleashing the heavy-hitting Vertebreaker EP last year, Herobust is back at it again with three unique spins on two of the project’s standout tracks, “Move Mint” and “Vertebreaker.”
For this first track off the EP, a smooth remix of “Vertebreaker,” Herobust calls upon French DJ Habstrakt of Never Say Die Records. Listeners might recognize Habstrakt from his successful 2017 collaboration with Skrillex, “Chicken Soup.” The title track blends seamlessly into Habstrakt’s distinctive production style and transforms for his four on the floor universe.
In the following remix, DJ 4B brings his quintessential Jersey Club style into the mix to rework “Move Mint” in true Staten Island fashion. At just 24 years old, DJ 4B, aka Bobby McKeon, has already graced the EDM sphere with his unique sound for nearly eleven years, garnering impressive support from industry legends such as Diplo, DJ Snake and Skrillex.
After resounding demonstrations from Habstrakt and 4B, Herobust himself closes off the remix EP with a VIP second edit of “Move Mint.” With previous remix commissions from the likes of D.R.A.M., DJ Snake and Knife Party, it’s exciting to watch Herobust break the mold with new renditions of his own creations. Listen below to hear from the artist that ‘YourEDM’ named to their “Top 5 Best Trap Artists 2016” and is deemed by Insomniac to be “one of the hottest voices in the trap-dance movement:”
