Spanish producer Michael White is progressively becoming a name to look out for in the bass music scene.
Coming onto the scene over four years ago with drumstep-influenced remixes of Zeds Dead and Feed Me originals, the talented producer continued to explore different soundscapes within the electronic music realm before quickly finding his niche in dubstep and bass house genres. In the past year alone, he’s released with Kinphonic, NCS, Ones To Watch, and more.
Now, he’s teamed up with Datsik’s Firepower Records for a brand new EP titled Diamonds. The title track, “Diamonds In My Mouth,” sees him expand on his ever-evolving sound, with a cutting-edge result that sounds like it could very well be a JOYRYDE and Herobust collaboration from the year 3018. Featuring innovative sound design, forceful drums and a memorable acapella via Lil’ Keke’s 2006 smash “Chunk Up The Deuce,” the new release has just about everything, but it works.
We teamed up with Michael White to find out what else he’s listening to, from Habstrakt, to Zomboy and more. This playlist will definitely give you the energy you need for your weekend activities. Check it out below and grab Diamonds on Firepower Records here.
