After releasing a brand new single, “Angel Voices,” Porter Robinson’s Virtual Self alias has announced a brand new set of stops on his Utopia Tour.

The tour, which kicks off with a performance at New York’s Electric Zoo on Friday, August 31, now includes stops in Montreal, Los Angeles and more. Every show on the Utopia Tour will combine two sets into one; he will be performing one set from the two Virtual Self “producers.” First, a techno, 2-step and trance segment from his technic-Angel moniker, followed by a selection of gabber, jungle and hardcore from Pathselector. 2001-era warehouse rave influences combined with custom-built lighting and stage production will make the tour like nothing the musician has ever done before.

Robinson hopes to “combine three tropes from the period that didn’t overlap much at the time: digital abstract, arcane magic design, and digital grunge, all into a single early-aughts flavor.”
