Bassheads, unite! Apashe is back at it again with his new track, “Do It,” featuring another collab with hip-hop emcee Black Prez via Kannibalen Records. At first taste, “Do It” is a headbanger-friendly record but the underlying gritty bass is an Apashe signature. Don’t be fooled by the ghostly melody at the beginning, because it’s going to melt your innards with this abysmal bass.
Apashe and Black Prez released this call-to-action in lieu of the recent Nike controversy. With stimulating lyrics like “Can’t nobody stop me / Don’t get in my way / Ya’ll better get off me / I said I do it how I do it,” this banger quickly became a catalyst for self-motivation. Ending the anthem with “We believe Colin is one of the most inspirational athletes of this generation, who has leveraged the power of sport to help move the world forward” seals the deal in the fight for racial equality in America.
Listen and download “Do It” here and prepare to be supercharged. Be sure to check out his newest EP, Requiem, which features another hit “Dies Irae” (ft. Black Prez).
Apashe hits the stage with Black Tiger Sex Machine on tour this fall where you can hear “Do It” live!
