Magnolia City composer and crooner Prismo released his synth-pop poem “First Time” by means of Swedish independent record label PRMD Music (announced “pyramid”). I’m infatuated: Prismo’s cool as a cucumber chops are coupled with minimalistic, light-footed grooves.
Prismo’s Zach Burgett previously performed alongside crackerjack producers Illenium, Jauz, Jai Wolf, BKAYE, Win and Woo, Tascione and Party Favor. In the festival circuit, Burgett is no noob— he’s appeared at SXSW, Middlelands, BOO! Dallas. This 21-year-old Texas A&M Reveille engineered official remixes for Pegboard Nerds as well as The Chainsmokers. Currently, Prismo’s cooking up his 2019 debut album. #PRISMOB
“I wrote this song in the summer of 2016, right after I started dating an amazing person, “ said Burgett. “For the past two years, I’ve committed myself to this woman; it’s been the most enjoyable time of my life. It’s my last time losing because I feel so lucky. Essentially, ‘First Time’ is about my first time feeling like I’m in love.”
