Alison Wonderland is an Australian producer and singer who was classically trained in music and specialized in the cello growing up. She made her transition into electronic music in 2009 when she started DJing and producing music, and would eventually release her debut album, Run, in 2014 which went gold in her home country. Since then she has been wooing crowds with her digital pop and incendiary beats, which have amassed her much praise and led to her becoming the highest billed female DJ ever at this year’s Coachella festival.
Tiësto Sunset Set
This guy is a legend for a reason. To have him play during a beautiful Florida sunset is a rare thing and something that shouldn’t be missed. I’m making a bold prediction here but I bet that more than half of the lineup at EDC Orlando this year have been and still are inspired by Tiësto. The man has a prolific history in DJing and dance music and is responsible for taking the charge of crossing over electronic music into the mainstream. Having scored No. 1 DJ by Rolling Stone, Greatest DJ of All Time by MixMag, No. 1 ranked DJ in the world 3 times by DJ Mag, 2 GRAMMY nominations, 1 GRAMMY win, and many more accomplishments over his illustrious career, you’ll want to do yourself a favor and catch Tiësto’s set.
This melodic bass producer has the ability to create emotional soundscapes worthy of a movie score. Illenium does more than just mix a few songs during his live shows; he utilizes keyboards, drum pads, and an immersive light and video show to enhance the already alluring audio experience. He has mentioned before that he draws influences from ODESZA and Porter Robinson, but it was a Bassnectar show at Red Rocks in 2011 that really set him off into his journey of producing music. Who knows, maybe he’ll be the one to inspire you onto your music production journey.
Feeling like you need a little bass in your face? Space Jesus is the man to bring the chattering teeth straight to your dome. With a focus on alien basslines, gangster beats, and future feels, Space Jesus brings something unique and different to a mainly techno and house lineup. His music is only one thing, but the live experience is guaranteed to get your head banging, It’s super high energy and electric so make sure to clear yourself about a five to six foot radius around yourself for all the thrashing that you’ll be doing.
Moody Good is a legend in the bass community. The British artist is well-respected for his work in duo 16bit and his own solo project, Moody Good. He hasn’t released music in a while, so this is not a set you’ll want to miss as you’re sure to hear plenty of unreleased material.
