In 2014 Bryan E. Gordon founded KAABOO at San Diego’s Del Mar Fairgrounds and cited 1969 Woodstock as his main inspiration. Five years later the festival is better then ever and now has two satellite locations in Texas and the Cayman Islands. KAABOO Del Mar takes place September 13-15, 2019 and it’s an event you really don’t want to miss.
KAABOO’s lineup has always been fantastic, and this year is no different with headliners like Kings of Leon, Black Eyed Peas, Mumford and Sons, Duran Duran, OneRepublic, Sublime With Rome, and many more. The unique combination of hip-hop, folk-rock, indie, reggae, and EDM artists across four large stages makes for a truly diverse lineup that can be enjoyed by every generation of music lovers.
All guests will also have full access to the notorious HUMOR ME comedy club, which will host comedians like Brett Kreischer, Pete Holmes, Bob Saget and Cristela Alonzo. There will be an abundance of art, both on display in SoCal’s largest contemporary art fair and being painted live over the crowds on giant murals. The PALATE area boasts gourmet food and beverage tastings for all pass holders. For people willing to take the extra step up, there are Hang 5 and Hang 10 passes that include elevated VIP viewing areas with full service bars, Amplify-only zones and performances, backstage access, and a private BASK pool party.
