Nashville-based music producer Shmuck the Loyal has just dropped an otherworldly instrumental titled “Excavation.”

Showcasing a deeper, more emotive side of electronica, the rising artist shines on his new production. After exclusively working for artists such as Blackbear, Doja Cat and more, the producer makes a welcomed return to his own project.

“Excavation” offers brooding melodies, menacing 808s and expert-level production. The single is the first off of Shmuck’s debut project with Nashville label Softcore helmed by producer Aaron C. Harmon (Blackbear, Mike Shinoda, Donna Missal). If there was a more perfect track to introduce his forthcoming project, I’d be damned.

Stream “Excavate” below and stay tuned for more from the budding solo act.
