Bass music producer MineSweepa is known for pushing the boundaries of the genre, and he’s continuing to do just that with his latest release “Fake ID.”
The track is a lesson in creating bass music that is both a major club banger and a smart, experimental production. “When I wrote this song, I just got home from gooning with my friends and being delinquents. That was the energy I was on at the time and it just fit,” says MineSweepa of the origins of the track. “This song is meant to be played once you get back from the party and you’re not ready to sleep yet so you kinda just do bad sh*t with your friends.” The track certainly evokes visions of a wild underground club somewhere at 2 a.m. still going strong.
MineSweepa’s fun take on music has caught the attention of the likes of The Chainsmokers, Alison Wonderland, Zomboy and many more over the course of his career. He’s also brought the house down at major festivals including Das Energi, Foam Wonderland, Trapfest and Phoenix Lights to name a few.
