Powerful producer Rohaan has been gaining traction with memorable releases on labels like Deadbeats, Circus and Saturate Records. He now takes to Asia-based label Unchained Records for the release of his Lost Sirens EP.
The four-track collection might be one of the artist’s most profound releases yet with a UK-influenced flair, nasty basslines and an endless array of impressive sound design.
Dirty drum and bass-inspired stabs open the EP through “Sirens,” which is a subtle but effective dance floor destroyer. My personal favorite, “Darlin,” is the halftime banger you didn’t know you needed and proves why the producer has garnered support from legendary names like NOISIA. Ghostly rhythms and glitchy percussion provide a nice change of pace on “Gums,” which yields a left-field hip-hop effect, before a minimal rendition of “Darlin” rounds out the EP nicely.
Rohaan’s discernible influences take hold throughout Lost Sirens, but stand out with a proper Rohaan approach. Make sure to stream the EP below and check out the rest of his discography; you won’t be disappointed.
“This EP was made for the club & has been doing its rounds all over the globe the past half year! Unchained could not be a better home for these tracks.” – Rohaan
